About Jack

A structured way back to moving well.

Most of the people I work with aren't dealing with something new. They're dealing with something that keeps happening. The hamstring that's gone twice this season. The knee that aches every long run. The shoulder that's been "fine for now" for the last eight months.

What I do is assess what's going on, build a structured plan to support your recovery, and work on the strength and movement quality that helps reduce the risk of it coming back. You leave understanding what we're working on, why, and what to keep doing once we're done.

Injury Prevention & Strength

For people who keep cycling through the same niggles. We look at where you're most vulnerable, build the strength and control you're missing, and integrate it with the training you're already doing — with the aim of reducing the risk of recurring issues.

Niggles & Recurring Pain

The smaller issues that don't need a doctor but are getting in the way of training — recurring tightness, occasional flare-ups, movement that doesn't feel right. We assess what's going on and build a plan from there.

The flagship service

A rehab plan built for your specific situation.

Most online rehab plans are generic templates. They don't know your history, your sport, your current training load, or what you've already tried.

This is different. You fill in a detailed form. I read every word of it personally. We talk if I need more. Then I build a structured plan to support your recovery, with video demos for every exercise, planned progressions, and direct contact whenever you need it.

01

Tell me what's going on

Fill in the enquiry form. It takes about 10 minutes. The more detail you can give about your symptoms, history, and what you've tried, the more useful the plan I can build.

02

I review it personally

Within 24 hours. If your case is something I can support, I'll explain exactly how. If it would be better assessed by a GP or physiotherapist, I'll tell you and point you in the right direction.

03

You get a structured plan

A programme built around your injury, your training, and your goals. Video demos for every exercise, clear progression rules, and notes on what to monitor along the way.

04

We keep adjusting

The plan progresses as you do. Scheduled check-ins keep things on track and make sure you don't stall when the next step isn't obvious.

Pricing

How I work

No mystique. No upselling. No guesswork.

Four things matter to me about how I do this. If any of these don't match what you're looking for, that's worth knowing before we start working together.

01 Assessment first

Every client starts with a proper assessment — movement, history, training load. Without that, any plan would be guesswork.

02 Evidence-informed

What I prescribe is based on what the current research supports — not anecdote, not social media trends, not generic templates.

03 You'll understand it

You should be able to explain your own plan back to me. If I can't make it clear, I shouldn't be prescribing it.

04 Honest about scope

I'm a sports therapist, not a doctor or physiotherapist. When something sits outside what I can help with, I'll say so and refer you on.

Online injury enquiry

Tell me what's going on.

This is the form I'd want you to fill in if we were sitting down for an in-person assessment. The more detail you can give me, the more useful the plan I can build.

I read every enquiry myself. You'll hear back within 24 hours either way — even if it's to recommend someone better suited to help.

Common questions

Things people ask before they book.

Anything that's not covered here, send a message through the contact form. I'd rather you ask before booking than wonder afterwards.

Physios are HCPC-registered healthcare professionals working across the full medical spectrum — post-surgery, neurological conditions, medical diagnosis, the lot.

Sports therapists work specifically on musculoskeletal injuries, soft tissue work, and rehabilitation for active people. For most sports injuries and recurring issues, we do the same kind of work. For anything that needs medical diagnosis or sits outside musculoskeletal, you need a physio or GP — and I'll tell you when that's the case.

Yes. The "sports" bit refers to how I work, not who I work with. About half my clients are recreational gym-goers, runners, or people whose desk job has finally caught up with them. The approach is the same: figure out what's going on, build a plan that fits your life, get you moving better.

For many recurring issues and structured rehab situations, yes — the detailed enquiry plus a video consultation give me enough to build a useful plan. For some cases, in-person assessment is genuinely the better option. If that's true for your situation, I'll tell you and refund anything you've paid.

I'd rather turn down a case than send you a plan I'm not confident in.

Initial reply within 24 hours. Once any consultation call is done, your plan is with you inside 5 working days. Comprehensive plans with a video assessment can take a few days longer because I want to do them properly.

Stop and message me. Every plan comes with clear notes on what to monitor and when to back off. If something flares up, we adjust the plan or, where appropriate, refer you on to a GP or physiotherapist. You're never left guessing mid-programme.

You get a full refund and a clear pointer to who you should see instead. Sending you a plan I'm not confident in isn't useful to either of us.

If you've got severe or rapidly worsening pain, numbness or weakness in both limbs, loss of bladder or bowel control, pain after a serious fall or accident, or any symptom that's worrying you — contact your GP, call NHS 111, or in an emergency call 999. Some things sit outside what sports therapy can or should be doing.

Yes — full professional indemnity and public liability covering both in-person treatment and online services.
